The Multi-Document Workflow allows you to export not only one document but several different (and separate) WORD documents with one LAWLIFT template.
With the bilingual mode, you can display your texts in two columns in different languages.

Language Selection |
You can select which language should be downloaded before the Word export:
|
You can control which languages are downloaded via the interview. Each language is downloaded in a separate document. |
Interview |
The information from the interview must be translated separately - depending on the necessity. Information from the interview cannot be translated (e.g. from DeepL). Create text fields etc. for the second language in the required places. |

Date, enumeration from multiple choice questions, numbers in words |
Under Options, you will find the two languages, select the appropriate languages there and the elements will be translated correctly in both columns. |
In the options, you can find the template language. You can select the language for each tab if it differs. Select the appropriate languages and the elements will be translated correctly. |
Layout |
Note the peculiarities of formatting in the bilingual mode. Especially for the two-column variant, there are a few special characteristics, such as the single-column numbering. |
A separate layout can be stored for each tab. However, you can also link all tabs with the same layout. |
Translation |
You can translate your templates manually or automatically. With the interface DeepL, you can track the translation of your template live. For this, you need an account at DeepL. |
The template must be translated manually. If there are existing documents, they can be uploaded via the auto-upload, otherwise of course they can be pasted via copy&paste. |
Multilingual |
In bilingual mode - according to the wording - only bilingual documents can be created. | There are no limits to the number of languages you can display. |
Summary |
The bilingual mode offers you a great advantage when translating your templates live. With the two-column display of the template and document, you can get a good overview of the two languages and better understand and implement changes in the headings and paragraphs bilingually. |
In the Multi-Document Workflow, there are no limits to the number of languages that can be displayed. In particular, the layout of the documents can be controlled very simply for each tab. You are spared the challenges of formatting a bilingual template. |
