Manage Multi-Document Workflow

Rules on Tabs

You can do this by clicking on the name of the tab to open the menu for setting rules.

Tip

By placing rules on the tabs, you can also control in particular which tabs should be exported. This is helpful especially when you want to review your template and you don't always want all tabs to be downloaded at once, but you want to focus on one tab.

Change the Tab Name

Click on the name of the tab under OPTIONS (it will be displayed as underlined) and enter your desired name.

Change the Tab Position

You can change the position of the tab by entering the order under POSITION.

Delete a Tab

You can delete the entire tab and all its contents.

Click on the tab under OPTIONS (it will then be displayed as underlined) and click on DELETE.

Tab Amount

You can create as many tabs as you want.

Synchronization between tab and template

If you open the options in the multi-document workflow, you will see two tabs at the top. In the "Template" tab on the left, you can set the global settings for the entire template, e.g. language, background layout, numbering, bilingual mode, etc.

The right tab refers to the currently selected tab, so you can change the position and name, delete the tab and define your own layout for the tab.

You will now see these synchronization symbols to the right of the settings for the respective tab:

This allows you to specify whether this specific setting should be adopted from the template settings. By default, all settings are adopted from the template when a new tab is created.

If you want to cancel the synchronization, you can click on the icon or simply make a setting within the tab. The icon then changes to

The synchronization is now removed and you can define the settings for the stored layout, the display of the headings, the numbering, the justification, the language and the bilingual mode separately for this tab.

Info

If you remove all but one tab within the multi-document workflow, the last settings within the remaining tab are adopted as template settings.
