Welcome,
How Can We Help You?

Note "No connection to server"

There can be many reasons why there is no connection to the server.

  • If you use a mobile data connection, it may not always be stable, especially if you are moving. The further away your access to the Internet is from our server in Germany, the more likely this can lead to instability.

  • WebSocket error or missing DNS entry update for app.lawlift.de in the network

Background: The DNS (Domain Name System) sometimes does not allow WebSocket connections to domains that are not on a whitelist. LAWLIFT uses a WebSocket connection, without WebSockets (socks) the app is not accessible. A WebSocket error should then also appear in the console.
The solution, in this case, is to add our domain app.lawlift.de to the DNS whitelist.

  • Proxy & WebSocket connection

Your proxy may be preventing our WebSocket connection. Proxies change the header of the request. With TLS (encrypted connection) the proxy should pass on the request ("passthrough").

Whether our WebSocket connection is blocked must be tested and configured in your proxy settings. Anyway, our app needs a WebSocket connection ('wss:...') via port 443.
