Welcome,
How Can We Help You?

Use Modules to Synchronise Responses

You can synchronize responses via a module on a case- or client-related basis or on a file or sub-file-related basis.

Info

This feature is only available in the unlimited plan.

If you want to create several documents for the same case or client, you can use synchronization to retrieve the same information in several documents. Answers once entered are saved and, therefore, need to be entered only once when using modules.

To set up synchronization, open the corresponding module in the edit mode. Below each question, in the interview, you will find a button that allows you to define the type of synchronization for that particular question. The button appears when you move the cursor over the question.

By clicking on this button you can decide for each question individually whether it should be synchronized case-related, client-related or not at all, respective file or sub-fule related.

Case-based / sub-file synchronization remembers the answers if you enter the same case/sub-file while using it.

Client related / file synchronization remembers the answers when entering the same client/file.

You can update and correct the given answers at any time. LAWLIFT always remembers the last answer entered.

The synchronization settings can also be applied to all templates where the module is already in use by using the update function.

If you create a document, you will always be asked for the client and the case or file and sub-file. Enter the respective data and click on USE.

In the use mode (i.e. you are now creating a document) you enter the data and answer the questions. All answers to the questions that you have previously synchronized are now saved.

If you now create a new document (from another template with the same module or the same template) and enter the same client and/or case or file and/or sub-file there as well, all answers that you have previously saved with the synchronization will be entered in the use mode.
