Our aim is for LAWLIFT to integrate seamlessly into your applications. This is why it is possible, for example, to use our interface to fill the question catalog of an intelligent template with data from another application via our LAWLIFT API. 

API key for accessing templates and publications

The API key for the API mapping can be viewed in each template if you activate the option (see image). You have various options for accessing templates and publications via the API. These include:

• Generate documents from a template or publication
• Create a list of all templates or publications
• Receive specific information on a particular template or publication

You can test this function via https://developers.lawlift.com/#introduction and obtain more detailed information on the endpoints and technical requirements. The API key has the form <ApiClientId>@<ApiSecretKey>.

API-Mapping

In order for LAWLIFT to know which information belongs to which answer, you must enter the field name of the information that your database uses into your intelligent template in LAWLIFT. The field name is the abstract description of the location where your application stores the corresponding information in the database. Each piece of information has its own field name. Proceed as follows:

Now the API can be used as long as you send the data from your side to our interface in the correct format. You send GET or POST requests to the LAWLIFT server and then receive either a link to the generated document or a JSON file with the requested information.
