This feature only is available in the unlimited plan.
You can save your template responses in an external file independent of the template. These answers can be exported as CSV and JSON files.
The answers are displayed with the question, label (text field), and value (answer in question catalogue). Optionally, the field API mapping is also filled in when using the API.
To download the answers to your templates, open the preview mode of your template in edit mode or use a template. Now click on the three grey dots on the top right next to EXPORT TO WORD. A small new window will open. Here you can choose whether you want to save the answers as CSV or JSON files.
Publication
You can save the additional options in the advanced publication settings for users. Select "Additional export options" there to offer the user the option of downloading the answers.
Excel spreadsheet
You can also display the data from the CSV file in columns in an Excel spreadsheet.
Here you can read how to convert text files from CSV to an Excel spreadsheet.
To then display the answers in different columns in the Excel spreadsheet, do the following:
Highlight all the entries. Click on "Text in columns". In the window that now opens, click on "Separated" and then on "Next".
Now click on the separators that are to separate the information into columns. Confirm the process with "Finish".
