Page and Section Breaks in Word

You can create page breaks in your letterhead template and use your letterhead template to structure your document. This is particularly useful if you want to insert tables of contents or static images.

Open your letterhead template and insert a page break or section break.

A page break indicates that the text should be continued from a new page.

A section break can also indicate that the text is to be continued from a new page, but a new section will start here. This is useful when the numbering is to be restarted or when the page numbers start counting again.
