Notes on Particular Case Constellations

Unnumbered Headings and Paragraphs

Since you have assigned numbering to the style sheets for unnumbered headings and paragraphs, manually turning off numbering within your LAWLIFT template will no longer affect the Word export. This means there are no more unnumbered headings and paragraphs. If you still want to not number headings or paragraphs, use the "custom style" function.

Suppose only one heading with only one paragraph is to be created. In that case, LAWLIFT automatically assigns it to the unnumbered Word style - e.g., "LL Paragraph Level 2" instead of "LL Paragraph Level 2 numbered". Your changes to the unnumbered style sheet would also have an effect here. If you want to use individual formatting here, please use our "custom style" function here too.

Using the Customstyle Function

In the first step, go to your style sheets and click on "A+" at the bottom left. A window will open where you can now set your desired formatting. This follows the familiar pattern. Give your style sheet a name not already assigned to an existing style sheet, e.g., "Company".

Then make sure that the setting "None" is selected under "Format" and "Numbering". After completing all other settings, such as font and font size, click on "New documents based on this template" and "OK. "

In the last step, you must store your new style in your LAWLIFT template in the heading or paragraph, which should not be numbered. Enter the command ::customstyle[name of style sheet] at the desired position. After successful input, the command appears with a green background. For our example, the command in a paragraph would look like this:
