Set Rules in the Editor Mode
To set a RULE, click on the element that is to appear under a condition to be defined, e.g. a paragraph. Now click on RULE to the right of it. The rule window will now appear with a grey background at the bottom of the screen:
All answers of the questionnaire that can be linked to the selected element are now highlighted. Click on the answer that is to trigger the element.
Click once on the answer, set a positive rule: IF this answer is given, THEN the regulated element appears in the text or in the questionnaire.
The grey bar at the bottom of the screen explains the set rules; positive linked answers are marked green:
Click a second time on an answer to set a negative rule: An element is always displayed THEN IF this answer is NOT given. Negative linked answers are marked red.
Click a third time on the answer, to DELETE the rule.

To keep track of where you have already set a rule, you can click in the respective elements (headings, paragraphs, questions, answers). If a rule has already been set, the RULE button appears with a blue background on the right.
Combining Rules
You can make an element dependent on any number of combinations of answers with AND/OR combinations and CONDITION GROUPS.

Consider a rule group as a bracket, like in mathematics. Note that you can add infinite combinations and groups of rules. Here it is up to you to keep track.
Warning
Please note that if you set rules on higher-level elements, they will apply to all elements below. This means that rules in headings refer to all paragraphs below them. If you indent headings one level further, a rule in headings of the level above also refers to the indented heading.
