Technical Requirements & Privacy Policy of Publications

Info

This feature is only available in the unlimited plan.

Technical Requirements

There are no special technical requirements for the use of the publication solution. The publication solution is controlled within the LAWLIFT application.

Access to the published templates themselves is done via a link. This link can easily be integrated into any website. The process of document creation is then initialized with a single click.

It is possible to create a self-service portal. It is also possible to make only the interview or only a part of the interview accessible via a link.

The prerequisite for use is only a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Safri). The Internet Explorer is no longer supported. Firefox is not recommended. As part of an on-premise installation, the publication solution cannot be used externally. That is technically impossible.

Privacy Policy / Security

When generating the document, data entered by the user (not logged in), will not be transmitted to our servers. We do not collect or store this data.

Data will only be saved on the computer of the user locally in the browser. According to the internal security guidelines this data will be autodeleted or manually deleted.

Data will only be transmitted

  1. if the user has a LAWLIFT account of the account holder (which is usually not given) and is logged in (at the same time he is answering the questions) or
  2. if only the template's questionnaire is published and the user presses "Submit".

The LAWLIFT account holder can set how he wants to publish the templates and thus also determine whether data should be transferred or not.

Reuse responses saved locally in the browser

When you open a publication, the publication link becomes an individual link for a specific document. You can recognise this by the fact that the URL is significantly longer than the original URL of the publication:

If you create a bookmark for this "document link" or save the address in another way and you have already given answers, you will be asked when you reopen it whether you want to continue working on the existing document or create a new one:

If you have upgraded the version of the publication in the meantime, you will also be asked after clicking on "Existing document" whether you want to use the old or the new version of the publication:

However, a user on another device cannot access it due to the locally saved answers. If such a link is opened by another user, a new document is automatically created without any answers given based on the latest version of the publication.
